Optional question assistant
Only the question you choose to submit is sent to an external processing service to prepare an answer. Calculator fields are not attached. Do not include personal, health or account information. Answers may be reused for up to ten minutes. We retain limited usage information to protect the service, without saving a conversation history. Close the tab to clear its temporary answers. Analytics excludes questions, calculator inputs and results. Printed or downloaded reports contain the values you choose and remain under your control.
Information We Collect
Manual calculations run in your browser. The analytics events sent by this site exclude entered values and calculated results. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send.
Share Results
A shared scenario link contains the entered values. Anyone with the link can read them, and opening the link sends its URL to the hosting service. Do not share sensitive information.
Cookies and Analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you allow optional analytics. It may use cookies and receive usage and technical data, including page views, browser details and approximate location. You can withdraw consent using the analytics settings control; this stops future analytics collection by this site but does not delete data already sent.
Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to support its free tools. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses and browsing information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, with your consent where required, personalize ads. Calculator input values are not intentionally sent to advertising services. Google’s privacy controls let you consent, decline or manage choices where applicable, and reopen them using the privacy links shown on the page. Analytics choices are separate. Learn how Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites . Manage personalized ads: https://myadcenter.google.com/ . Ad availability depends on Google’s approval and demand.
Data Storage
Your browser stores your analytics choice and appearance preference locally. You can clear these preferences in your browser settings. This calculator does not require an account. The English compounding-frequency comparison saves scenario inputs only when you choose Save on this device. Reopening or clearing uses this browser profile. JSON/CSV downloads contain your entered values; review them before sharing. These saved scenarios are not sent to analytics or advertising.
Third-Party Services
Our hosting service hosts this site and may process technical request data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect it. If you allow analytics, Google also processes usage data under its privacy policy.
Public content
Search services may read our public pages. Calculator fields are not sent with assistant questions. The optional question assistant and the information it processes are described separately in this policy.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
